Another Way to See the Dragon

October 26, 2007

My Dragon

I am reminded again & again that it is the gift of love & friendship that I have. I am reminded today that it is the simple things that make my life so rich on my journey. It is not about defeating this Dragon but how I can make room for this Dragon as the Cancer leaves me and I find ‘favourable results’.

Today We Meet the Dragon

October 26, 2007

I am reminded that I need to find a way to work with the Dragon. The Dragon will be with me when my cancer is no longer with me and I have ‘favourable results’. I am not afraid of this Dragon on this part of my journey. It is the simple things that make my life so rich.

Through the many stories of women who are now on the “other side” of their breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, the site offers hope, inspiration and courage for the many women, family members and network of supporters, affected by their disease. Living Conversation is a community of hope embraced by learning, living and strength. Living Conversations is a way to expand the power within and share a message with others on this journey to the other side.

Standing on the Summit

October 13, 2007

Summit of Kilamanjaro

On October 13, 2007 at 5:20 am local time, Harold Mah summitted Mount Kilimanjaro. The final ascent to the summit took the team 5 hours. He carried a photo of Nina with him. What really matters in life is how you are able to receive the help, guidance and inspiration of those around you for they can help you reach the summit.
